30 Day Meal Plan

This is the meal plan I've chosen to follow, based on my understanding of the Paleo guidelines and portion suggestions. It is advised not to snack between meals, but I feel better eating a little bit every few hours rather than trying to get really full at once, so I have split up meals to allow for two snacks a day. The times listed are what work best with my school & work schedule, but the point is to just give yourself 3-4 hours between eating.

Mexican Brownies

These aren't Paleo... but they are delicious. 
And we made them before we started our new way of eating, so you probably should also. 
These were born out of desperation. 
Poor, hungry, PMSing college girls at midnight.
Who knew that something this good would come out of that?!

Mexican (Mayan) Brownies
1-2 tbs Butter, melted
½ cup (a little less) cinnamon applesauce
1 tsp (or a little more) mexican vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup flour (give or take)
¼ tsp baking powder
1/3 cup Hershey’s special extra dark cocoa
¼ tsp salt
¼- ½ - cup chocolate chips (we used milk, darker would work)

Mix melted butter, applesauce, vanilla and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in flour, cocoa, baking powder, cocoa and salt. Add in chocolate chips.
Pour in greased 8x8 pan.

Bake at 350 F (lowered down to 325 at half point) for 25-30 minutes.

Eat quickly. Or hide. Roommates will steal these, and they will come back for more.
